Once we’ve received your booking and full payment for the event, we will confirm your booking by email. Your booking confirmation will include your booking receipt.
About 4 weeks before the event, we’ll email you an information pack which will contain all the information you need to get to the event. Until then, last year’s information packs below will give you an idea of the event.
If you need to check that your booking has been received before you receive your confirmation, or if you have any other queries, please contact our Customer Service team on 0208 4337 305 or email the Gilwell 24 team email@example.com
Certain activities require parental permission in order to participate and permission forms must be signed by the parent or guardian. It is important that all of the information required is completed on all forms – we apologise if some of the details repeat on different forms. This is due to us using a variety of activity providers who need these details for insurance purposes.
Stay safe at Gilwell24
It is the policy of The Scout Association to safeguard the welfare of all members by protecting them from neglect and from physical, sexual and emotional harm. In 2017, the TSA Safeguarding Team have created a Gilwell 24 Safeguarding Guide which will help leaders, parents and participants to think about some of the potential situations which could arise during the event and help to plan for and mitigate these risks. It also outlines the help and support available to you and your group in the unlikely event that something does go wrong. Please share and discuss this guide with all adult volunteers prior to attending Gilwell 24. Should you have any safeguarding questions before the event please contact your County Safeguarding Awareness Co-ordinator.
